UnO for Kemper firmware version history ======================================= v.1.4 (07/04/2016) ------------------ -> Extension in order to support using an expression pedal for morphing Keeping 1+9 pressed during startup enters expressionpedal function setup (choice between Volume, Wah, Pitch, Morph for each of the 2 pedals) v.1.3c (03/05/2015) ------------------- -> Bugfix key scanning system : selftest jumped to calibration mode instead of waiting for A1/F1 v.1.3b (27/12/2014) ------------------- -> Change in the auto-channel-adapt system : FCB1010 listens to ALL incoming MIDI ("omni mode"), sends MIDI on channel 1 by default, but switches to sending on a different channel as soon as at least one KPA message is received on a channel different than 1. This should allow the FCB1010 to auto-adapt to any programmed MIDI channel without configuration. v.1.3a (17/03/2014) ------------------- -> Support for morph functionality extended from Performance mode only to Performance mode AND Browse mode v.1.3 (25/02/2014) ------------------ -> Press switches 1+2 during startup to activate stomp config mode (this avoids interference between stomp config activation and beat scanner activation) -> Support for beat scanner activation by keeping the tempo switch pressed (this needed a change in transmitted MIDI messages) -> Support for "performance pre-selection". In this mode, while browsing through performances their index is displayed on the FCB1010 display and the slot LEDs are blinking. Only after clicking a slot switch the performance is activated. When clicking no slot switch within a certain time, the previously active performance and slot are activated again. v.1.2 (16/12/2013) ------------------ Improved expression pedal behavior : -> "hysteresis" further reduced to a minimum, which means that the slightest movement of the pedal will cause the volume or wah to respond. This also has as result that the adjustment resolution has been improved from roughly 66% to 95% of the full MIDI resolution. -> Guaranteed transmission of the values 0 and 127 at the end of the pedal sweep. This is especially important to guarantee activation of the tuner in heel position. Due to lack of adjustment resolution with previous firmware versions a few calibration settings could result in the 0 value to be never reached. -> Important add-on ! Possibility to choose the "sweep curve" for each of the 2 expression pedals ! Up till now the FCB1010 expression pedals showed a more or less linear behavior, which is far from optimal for volume or wah adjustment. A volume pedal normally uses an "audio taper" (exponential curve), and a wah pedal typically has something between audio taper and linear taper. Now you have 5 different sweep curves to choose from, going gradually from linear to audio taper. This can be configured for each pedal separately. This option results in a far more natural volume and wah adjustment. v.1.1 (11/07/2013) ------------------ -> CC number tranmitted to activate/deactivate Delay has changed from CC26 to CC27 CC number tranmitted to activate/deactivate Reverb has changed from CC28 to CC29 As a result, delay and reverb are now switched off while keeping the tails, which is more suitable. v.1.0 (15/06/2013) ------------------ Initial release. See manual for detailed functional description.
