v.1.0.4 (10/12/2013) -------------------- 1. Expression pedals start sending MIDI messages as soon as a movement is detected. Previous firmware versions had some 'hysteresis' implemented: when starting a pedal sweep, the pedal needed to move an equivalent of 10 MIDI values before MIDI messages were actually being sent. 2. The full MIDI resolution is now used for the transmitted CC messages when moving the expression pedals. In previous firmware versions a pedal sweep resulted in sending only 66% of the available MIDI values. 3. CC values 0 and 127 are now guaranteed to be sent by the expression pedals after correct calibration. In previous firmware versions, even after perfect calibration is was possible that the 0 or 127 values were never sent. v.1.0.3 (05/06/2012) -------------------- 1. 1+5 pedal calibration no longer clears the global settings (which is the case for all Behringer firmware versions and all UnO versions till 1.0.2.f) 2. No longer necessary to enable "SysEx Receive": patchdumps are always enabled 3. Possibility to send patchdump to FCB in 16 smaller chunks (160-byte SysEx instead of 2352-byte sysex) Full patchdump is only stored in EEPROM after receiving last chunk. More MIDI-USB interfaces may be working correctly when using smaller SysEx messages. (FCB/UnO ControlCenter necessary for using the "chunked patchdump" option. See http://www.fcb1010.uno) 4. With MIDI merge enabled, a patchdump no longer results in a small corrupt SysEx message preceeding the actual patchdump message. This corrupted partial SysEx causes several MIDI-USB interfaces to behave unreliably. 5. FCB1010 now sends an acknowledge after receiving a full or partial patchdump (relevant for patchdump editing software only) 6. Attention : following older UnO features are NO LONGER SUPPORTED in this firmware version : - Note Transpose option on the incoming MIDI stream - Option to send 5-byte or 6-byte SysEx message instead of PC or CC message - Option to toggle the Expr.A CC number between 2 values with a stompbox. 7. By removing the features above, it is again possible to use all 5 PC messages (PC1 ... PC5) in all presets. (with UnO v.1.0.2.f and lower, PC4 was no longer available, due to the extra storage memory necessary for the options above)
